Chris Camp CEBS, MTMS
Chris A. Camp has been involved in the local’s benefits plan management for 25 years and has been chair of the Halifax Professional Firefighters Benefits Trust since its inception. He has 34 years of service as a professional firefighter. Camp served on the Halifax Professional Firefighters Executive Board for 18 years and has been involved in multiple collective bargaining processes. He is chair of the labour/management health and wellness committee and has 27 years of experience implementing wellness programs. He currently serves on the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Trustees Committee, is Chair of the Canadian Strategic and Program Planning Committee, and a member of the Canadian Board. Camp previously was on the Board of Directors and the Canadian Legal/Legislative and Public Sector
Committee. He also recently served as the 2023 Canadian Board Chair.
