Krista Tartaglia CPA, CA
Krista Tartaglia is a partner at BDO Canada LLP. She has over 16 years of experience in public accounting, providing assurance, accounting and advisory services to clients in multiple sectors, with a specialization in pensions and other employee benefit trust funds. As a partner in the assurance and accounting group, Tartaglia is responsible for the oversight of client files, including financial statement disclosures, and the overall planning, execution and completion of audit, review and compilation engagements. She is part of the national quality assurance review team, which conducts internal inspections of the technical and qualitative aspects of work performed across BDO offices. As part of BDO Canada’s Pension and Benefits Industry Group, Tartaglia is involved with developing internal pension and benefit training and providing consulting to other BDO offices across Canada on relevant pension and employee benefit fund issues. She is an active member of the International Foundation and regularly attends and presents at various conferences. As a director of the YMCA Canada National Board, Tartaglia sits on the governance and the nominations subcommittee and Chairs the finance, audit and risk committee.
